My journey to becoming a full-time tattoo artist reads like a script written by the divine hand of God himself. My artistic odyssey began with childhood sketches of Disney characters, a pastime I shared with my mom. Fast forward through five enriching years of art school, where I honed my craft and earned not one, but two art degrees — specializing in drawing, painting, and art history. Portraiture and abstract expressionism became my playground, my canvas, my passion.

After graduation, I found myself in the Cedar Valley, applying my talents to the creation and installation of captivating graphics. But amidst the hustle and bustle of my career, a serendipitous moment unfolded. While getting a tattoo of my daughter's tiny footprint, I found myself drawn to the tattoo artist's voice, evangelizing in the neighboring chair. It was in that moment, amidst ink and introspection, that I felt the call to redirect my artistic journey toward a higher purpose. Feeling the push from the Lord, I embarked on an apprenticeship under Ian Foley, at Foley Ink'd.

Now with the unwavering support of my wife, Alyssa, and countless prayers, I've embarked on a new path — one guided by faith and anchored in my love for art. Today, as the owner of WayMaker Ink LLC, I stand at the crossroads of creativity and conviction, ready to infuse every stroke of my tattoo gun with meaning and purpose.

From concept pieces to pre-drawn designs, I approach each project with reverence, eager to collaborate and transform visions into realities.
